English Language as a Second Language Affecting International Graduate Students Getting Academic Achievement in Master’s Degree

            The study aimed to find the relationship between English language proficiency and the general academic performance of international students through specific strategies. The descriptive analytical approach was used, and the questionnaire was used. It was applied to Saudi masters students at Virginia State University in the United States and the sample was withdrawn by the stratified method and among the most prominent results: All participants agreed that the interventions helped them learn and gain proficiency in their second language (English). However, they did not agree on the effect of these interventions on their academic performance. Participants from Group A and C reported that they saw improvement in academic performance while participants from Group B saw no change through this understanding.
